Chicago-based CMC Heartland Partners has found a new buyer for 177 acres in Fife that can be developed into an 864-home master-planned community.
The firm, which began in 1847 as the Milwaukee Road Railroad, recently disclosed that it reached agreements to sell the Fife site, called Autumn Grove, and all of its "major Chicago-area properties" for between $42 million and $44 million.
