New design guidelines approved for Pike/Pine

The Seattle City Council yesterday voted to update design guidelines for the Pike/Pine neighborhood.

More than 75 percent of buildings in the area were constructed before 1930. The legislation addresses how to make new development compatible with older structures in scale and form.
