Project of the Month: Redesign gives the UW a library fit for the digital age

The new stair at Odegaard Undergraduate Library makes the circulation plan clear and creates 6,000 square feet of newly usable space in the atrium.
Sunlight plays throughout the building, softly filtered by a unique system of wood slats just below the new 20-foot-by-40-foot skylight.
