I-405 ped crossing closed after damage

Officials have blocked access at both ends of the pedestrian bridge over Interstate 405 at Northeast 80th Street while engineers assess the extent of the damage.

KIRKLAND — The pedestrian bridge over Interstate 405 at Northeast 80th Street in Kirkland has been closed after crews discovered damage believed to be caused by a vehicle striking the structure.
